Gogledd Cymru were narrowly beaten last night at Parc Erias.They led 10-5 at half time but conceded a late converted try against the run of play to lose out 12-10. In an entertaining game the well drilled students opened strongly but the Gogs dominated proceedings as the game wore and on territory and chances made this was a game they should have won.
There were some outstanding individual performances with Nant Conwy winger Ioan Davies making some sublime runs but Ian Bucket's (former Wales, Swansea, Barbarians) man of the match was newcomer Alun Jones COBRA who set up the Gogs try with a devastating break from his own half to offload to Llandudno's Rhodri Carlton Jones to touch down.
