Roedd ôl tua mis i ffwrdd heb chwarae yn amlwg ar y ddau dîm gyda sawl camgymeriad gan y ddwy ochr. Hwyrach, y buasai’r gwyliwr niwtral yn dadlau ei bod yn gêm gyffrous yn cael ei hennill yn yr amser ychwanegol ar y diwedd. Unig sgôr yr hanner cyntaf oedd cais gan Pep ar ôl 10 munud ac ef ei hun yn ei drosi. 7-0 i Nant felly ar y chwiban hanner amser
Dechreuodd yr ail hanner mewn modd tebyg a bu i Pep roi Nant ymhellach ar y blaen gyda chic gosb lwyddiannus ar ôl 3 munud o chwarae. Ar ôl 8 munud arall, death sgor gyntaf Rhuthun trwy gais gan Ben Taylor yn cael ei drosi gan Shay Tudor. Pum munud o bwyso caled gan Nant wedyn gyda’r pac yn hyrddio ar y llinell a’r bachwr Eryl yn cael ei wthio trosodd am gais yn y diwedd. Pep yn methu trosi y tro hwn. Daeth Rhuthun yn ôl a sgorio cais (gorau’r gêm o bosibl) ar yr asgell chwith. Eto bu Shay Tudor drosi’i gais ei hun. Dim ond 10 munud oedd ar ôl pan fu i Shay Tudor gicio cic gosb lwyddiannus i roi Rhuthun ar y blaen am y tro cyntaf o ddau bwynt. Nant yn dal i bwyso ac ar ôl 41 munud o chwarae, penderfynodd Pep gicio am y gôl o tua 35 metr a hwyliodd y bel rhwng y pyst! Sgôr derfynol felly o 18-17 i Nant
Gêm gynghrair fydd gêm nesaf Nant gartref yn erbyn Bro Ffestiniog ar y 4ydd Rhagfyr 2010.
The fact that there had been a gap of four weeks in playing was evident for both sides in a match full of basic errors. Perhaps the neutral person would describe the game as being a full blooded cup match though with Nant winning in extra time. The only score of the first half was a try scored by Pep which he converted himself. A score of 7-0 at half time then.
The second half began in a similar fashion to the first one and this time, it was Pep again who was successful with a penalty after 3 minutes play. Ruthin scored their first points after another 8 minutes when Ben Taylor squeezed over for a try on the right. Shay Tudor was successful with the conversion. Further pressure on the try line by the Nant pack followed and ended when the hooker, Eryl was forced over by his fellow forwards to touch down. Pep missed the conversion attempt. Ruthin came back and, arguably, scored the best try of the match perhaps when Shay Tudor raced over on the right to touch down and then converted his own try. Only 10 minutes remained when Ruthin went ahead for the first time in the match when Shay Tudor was successful with a penalty attempt. A score of 15-17 then! Nant gathered pace again and the forwards were working their way down the pitch without breaking through. A penalty kick was given after 41 minutes play at a distance of about 35 meters away from the posts. Up stepped Pep once again and the ball bisected the posts on its way over to make the final score 18-17.
Nant’s next match will be a league game at home against Bro Ffestiniog on the 4th December 2010.
