PREVIEW GOGS U16s and U18s Sunday November 22, 2009
Both GC 16s and 18s are,weather permitting,in action this Sunday again,both away to the Neath/Swansea Ospreys.
The 18s who are still winless,will be looking to build upon their much improved performance in their last game against the Scarlets. However it will not be easy against an Ospreys side which although it has only won 2 of its 6 fixtures in this seasons regional age-grade Championship,defeated the Gogledd Cymru side 37-12 in the reverse fixture played at Colwyn Bay earlier in the season and which still has a chance of qualifying for the final of the Competition.
Due to the foibles of the fixture list in the Under 16 Age-Grade Competition,Gogledd Cymru 16s face their Ospreys counterparts both home and away in their next 2 fixtures and so Sundays match will in fact be the first time that the 2 sides have faced each other this season. Although the Gogledd Cymru side have only won 1 match this season,so their hosts have only won 2 and as such Sundays match provides a real opportunity for them to come away from South Wales with a second victory of the campaign.
